How to spot ants
Ants are social insects that live in colonies. You'll usually spot them walking in lines.
Ants may enter your house looking for food (normally sweet foods) or shelter. Once they find food or shelter, they will leave a scented trail for other ants to follow.
Treat ants yourself
To treat an ant infestation, you need to kill the entire colony using ant poison.
You can buy ant poisons at your local hardware store. You need to be thorough and follow the instructions on the label.
