Arrival of British and Dutch naval ships

Saturday 10 June to 11 June 2017, St Mary's Island, in Basin 2 of Chatham Maritime

Event update - Unfortunately HMS Richmond has had to leave Chatham earlier than planned and therefore won't be available for tours this weekend. The Royal Navy has said: "We can confirm that, for operational reasons, HMS Richmond has had to cut short her visit to Chatham where she was participating in the 350th anniversary of the Battle of Medway. The ship’s company regrets that they can no longer participate in the visitor open day to mark this occasion."

However, tours of HNLMS Holland will go ahead as scheduled.

We're offering you the chance to explore the Dutch Navy's HNLMS Holland at St Mary’s Island over the weekend of 10 and 11 June to see just how far modern warships have come since the Battle of Medway.

On board you’ll see the ship's bridge, its advanced radar capabilities and remote-controlled weapon systems, as members of the crew escort you through the vessel.

You can now book your free tickets for the tour.
