Visits to historic vessels

Wednesday 7 June to 14 June 2017 at St Mary's Island, Basin 1 and 2

Many of the local and visiting Dutch heritage vessels will be open to the public throughout this period at Basin 3, Gillingham pier and other river locations.

7 June 2017 will see the arrival of British and Dutch Naval ships at St Mary's Island, Basin 2. Representing the Dutch side is the impressive 108m long military ops ship, HNLMS Holland.

8 June 2017 - approximately 50 Dutch yachts will arrive for the festival at around 11am. Salute sail by Upnor Caste. The fleet will include some interesting vessels including the Morgenster, the Iris, the Urania and the George Stephenson.

9 to 11 June 2017 - you will be able to visit the Royal Navy and Dutch ships in Basin 2 before they leave from Basin 2 on 12 June.

14 June 2017 will see the Arrival of Second Dutch Yacht Fleet with a further 100 Dutch yachts arrive for the festivities.
